Zocalo Coffeehouse

Zocalo Coffeehouse. An independent, locally-owned coffeehouse and roastery, located in San Leandro, California. The name, a Mexican-Spanish word meaning "town square" or "town center," was chosen to reflect the goal of community building, focusing not only on the product, but on the place itself.

It’s not just about coffee or tea, it’s about the community.

Nestled between the 880 and 580 freeways near downtown San Leandro lies our coffeehouse at 645 Bancroft ave. Our interior features a library and children's play area and ample seat space for small to large groups. Every Thursday, Friday and Saturday we're open until 9pm and feature movies, music and community events, such as a trivia nights, and open mic.

Our coffee menu includes a deliciously traditional take on the classics as well as a seasonal variety of limited specialty drinks. Our Baristas are trained carefully in-house to provide the best drinks possible.

Our kitchen offers organic, vegan options with seasonal variations and breakfast lunch and dinner options.
